THE APPLE FESTIVAL
The Busti Apple Festival has been an area favorite since 1972. The festival began as a Pioneer Crafts Festival and quickly grew. Within a few years, the festival had grown to include a large farmer's market of locally grown apples. Home made apple pies are a major draw to the festival which also features many food and craft vendors as well as historical demonstrations, exhibits, and activities.
The festival is held on the last Sunday of September, rain or shine.
All proceeds from the festival help fund the maintenance of the mill and museum and the restoration of the miller's house. |
